SubRip (.srt) files are language files used for video subtitles. The SubRip format is one of the most widely used subtitle formats and is supported by most video players and streaming platforms.

- Sequence numbers: Each subtitle is numbered sequentially starting from 1
- Timecodes: Format is
HH:MM:SS,mmm --> HH:MM:SS,mmm(hours:minutes:seconds,milliseconds) - Text: The subtitle text follows the timecode, can span multiple lines
- Separator: A blank line separates each subtitle entry
