Translate Translation Memory Exchange (TMX) files
🔗What are TMX files?
TMX (Translation Memory eXchange) files are language files used to exchange translation memory data between different localization tools. TMX is an XML-based open standard maintained by LISA (Localization Industry Standards Association).
TMX files are bilingual or multilingual, containing source text segments paired with their translations. They are commonly used for:
- Sharing translation memories between tools
- Backing up translation work
- Importing existing translations into new projects
